Second time finalist for The Business Book Awards…
Michelle Carvill’s 4th book, Myths of Social Media - Dismiss the misconceptions and use social media effectively in business has been shortlisted for The Business Book Awards 2021 - Sales & Marketing Category. Michelle and her co-author, Ian MacRae were delighted to learn of the news via virtual the award ‘Shortlist Event’ that took place on World Book Day.
Michelle said…”It’s an incredible achievement to be a finalist. I’m so thrilled. There were a record number of entries to the awards this year, and so for Myths (of Social Media), to be shortlisted is simply wonderful. The launch date for Myths was 6th March 2020, pretty much the week before lockdown - and so all our exciting launch plans and interviews around the book were culled - and so given we’ve not had the opportunity to do much with Myths over the past year, it’s wonderful to see if recognised and shortlisted against so much competition.”
The final is on 25th May 2021.
